Belinda Ellington is a senior legal professional with over 25 years’ experience in law, regulation, policy and negotiation relating to Banking, Trading and Finance across Global Commodities’ Markets and Sustainable Finance.

Previously MD at Citi, Global Head of Commodities Legal, and advisor across departments on Environmental and Sustainable Financing and Climate Risk disclosures. Belinda has in depth knowledge and experience in structuring and negotiating high value, complex transactions, across multiple jurisdictions and is able to understand new and complex issues quickly. She brings legal expertise together with commercial thinking and an understanding of the broader risk and regulatory environment to resolve legal issues and bring about robust and effective legal solutions.

Belinda is experienced in resolving disputes and managing litigation in a variety of commercial sectors including, Banking, Shipping, Fraud Investigation, Market Abuse, Commercial Contract disputes, Sale of Goods, Multi-jurisdictional transactions, Derivatives, Insurance Claims and Insolvency.

Belinda is a commercial and numerate legal advisor with excellent communication skills.
